Fleet Services

The City of Lake City, Fleet Maintenance Department, is responsible for repair and maintenance on city vehicles, as well as, light and heavy construction equipment.  Our department takes great pride in our preventative maintenance program.  We take the proactive approach as opposed to the reactive approach.  This approach has proven effective in minimizing down time and has proven to be cost effective and makes for fewer emergency repairs.  We work diligently with our technicians in providing training  to keep them up to date on repairs and repair techniques in the fast changing automotive industry.  We strive through professional leadership to provide a positive work environment and that our fleet management division, will be able to meet each new challenge and make each work day a pleasant experience for our employees.
