PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTEMENT

Our goal is to meet and exceed our customers expressed and unexpressed expectations for streets in a productive and efficient manner.

To train and develop to meet the future growth. The Public Works Department is to have a continued process of improvement through public and employees trust, flexibility, innovation, competitiveness, responsibility and accountability, through employee excellence and satisfaction. We will support all other City Departments.

Goals and Objectives:

Our number one priority is to have a better and more productive working relationship with the citizens of Lake City by responding in a more efficient manner by keeping communications open.
Complete all projects assigned by the City Manager and Council satisfactorily and under budget for the fiscal year.
To establish values, work ethic, working relations between employees and staff through training and education. Create positive working atmosphere.
Develop quality performance measures.
Prioritizing objectives.
