NOTICE OF ELECTION TO BE HELD BY THE CITY OF LAKE CITY, FLORIDA FOR THE PURPOSE OF ELECTING A COUNCIL MEMBER FROM DISTRICT TWELVE, ELECTING A COUNCIL MEMBER FROM DISTRICT THIRTEEN AND THE OFFICE OF MAYOR.
Primary Election: August 20, 2024
General Election: November 5, 2024
Qualifying Period - Noon, Monday, June 10, 2024 to Noon, Friday, June 14, 2024
In accordance with Section 503 of the City Charter and City Council Resolution No. 2020-059, the City Clerk shall be the official representative of the City and the City Council in all transactions with the Supervisor of Elections of Columbia County, Florida in relation to matters pertaining to the use of registration books and records herein mentioned for holding such municipal elections. The City Clerk serves as the qualifying officer for candidates for City Elections and serves as the repository of campaign finance reports.
