Special Called City Council Meeting

THIS SERVES AS PUBLIC NOTICE the City Council of the City of Lake City, Florida will hold a Special Called City Council Meeting on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 10:30 A.M.    

Meeting Location:  City Council Chambers located on the 2nd Floor of City Hall at 205 North Marion Avenue, Lake City, FL 32055.   Due to COVID, all persons in attendance are strongly encouraged to wear a mask.  Members of the public may also view the meeting live on our YouTube channel. 

The purpose of the meeting is:  
• City Manager Candidate Glen Adams Second Interview  
• Discussion and Possible Action – City Manager applicant(s) background check
• Discussion and Possible Action – Scheduling of City Manager Candidate Thomas Thomas Meet and Greet and Second Interview
• Discussion and Possible Action – Agreement with County regarding Growth Management Department Services

Pursuant to 286.0105, Florida Statutes, the City hereby advises the public if a person decides to appeal any decision made by the City with respect to any matter considered at its meetings or hearings, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
