Special City Council Meeting

Meeting Location:  City Hall Council Chambers located on the 2nd Floor of City Hall at 205 North Marion Avenue, Lake City, FL 32055.

THE PURPOSE OF THE MEETING IS TO RESCIND THE AGREEMENT ADOPTED ON SEPTEMBER 16, 2019 PURSUANT TO CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO. 2019-112 AND TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY TO ENTER INTO A NEW AGREEMENT WITH THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURAL – FOREST SERVICE FOR APPROXIMATELY 13.5 ACRES OF REAL PROPERTY AT THE LAKE CITY GATEWAY AIRPORT TO BE USED AS AIR-BASE OPERATION.

City Council Resolution No. 2019-115, a resolution of the City Council of the City of Lake City, Florida, rescinding City Council Resolution Number 2019-112, and authorizing a revised lease with United States Department of Agricultural – Forest Service, at the Lake City Gateway Airport to be used as air-base operation. 

All interested persons are invited to attend the meeting identified above.

Pursuant to 286.0105, Florida Statutes, the City hereby advises the public if a person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Council with respect to any matter considered at its meetings or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
