MIN. STARTING SALARY: $25,975.66

The City of Lake City is accepting applications for the position of Airport Lineman at the Lake City Gateway Airport. This position requires routine work in fueling and parking aircraft and other related airport duties as directed.

Ideal candidate will have knowledge of the techniques and procedures of fueling and parking aircraft and general knowledge of safety practices.  Applicant must have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform manual labor.  Applicant must have the ability to calculate and measure and operate mid-size fueling equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicant must have a high school diploma or general education diploma (GED) and one (1) year fuel line experience. Possess a Class “B” Commercial Florida Driver’s License or have the ability to obtain. Applicant must have a valid Florida driver’s license and will be required to pass a background check, pre-employment physical and drug screen.
