POSITION TITLE:      CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER

STARTING SALARY:       $37,923.80 (DOE)

The City of Lake City is accepting applications for the position of Code Enforcement Officer in Growth Management. This position requires technical work enforcing/investigating City codes of ordinances and issuing occupational licenses. Work is performed under close supervision of the Director of Growth Management.

Minimum Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with two (2) years’ experience in working with the public. Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License. A Code Enforcement Certification is required and must be maintained throughout the duration of employment in this position.
