THIS SERVES AS PUBLIC NOTICE the City of Lake City will hold a public meeting on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. VIA Communications Media Technology. The purpose of this public meeting is to enter into contract negotiations, at the request of the Fraternal Order of Police, Florida State Lodge, for the Lake City Law Enforcement Bargaining Unit, Public Employees Relations Commission Certification No. 1834.
Place: Due to the COVID-19 social distancing requirements, the City of Lake City will hold the October 15, 2020 meeting via communications media technology.

Pursuant to 286.0105, Florida Statutes, the City hereby advises the public if a person decides to appeal any decision made by the City with respect to any matter considered at its meetings or hearings, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
